Scallops Released April 20, 2010

RMA had the pleasure of helping release about 1,000 baby scallops into St. Andrew Bay on April 20, 2010. Dr. Stephen Geiger of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWCC) delivered the scallops from St. Petersburg, FL and we released them in areas where seagrasses thrive in St. Andrew Bay. This is an ongoing project sponsored by FWCC, the Panama City NOAA Fisheries Lab, RMA, and Gulf Coast Community College
